The new Prime Minister of the UK will be Keir Starmer who is 61 years old and belongs to the Labour Party and is also a human rights lawyer.
Britain’s Labour Party has won and Starmer will become the new Prime Minister by winning the general election on Thursday.
Starmer will replace Rishi Sunak, who joined the PM’s office just two years ago.

Starmer said in his speech on Friday morning that the reason behind the party’s victory is the deep change in the party due to which they have won today and they need to work harder in the future.
“I don’t promise you it will be easy. Changing a country is not like flipping a switch,” he said. “We will have to get moving immediately.”

Starmer graduated from Leeds University, becoming the first in his family to graduate, and went to Oxford to study Law and Starmer was a left-wing scholar.
Starmer was first elected to Parliament in 2015 and has supported a number of committees such as those involved in planning Britain’s military and end-patriotic label.
